泰山医学院放射学院前身为泰山医学院放射系，成立于1985年。现为影像医学与核医学专业硕士学位授予权单位，山东省“九五”“十一五”重点学科点，卫生部全国放射技师培训基地，卫生部放射技师培训基地，全国高等教育研究会医学影像学教育分会副理事长单位。
学院现有专任教师68人，其中正高职称（教授、主 任 医师）12人，副高职称（副教授、副主 任 医师、高级实验师）30人。具有博士学位11人、硕士学位39人。全国优秀教师1人，省优秀教师和优秀科技工作者2人，省专业技术拔尖人才1人，省级或校级学术骨干和学科带头人11人。
学院现有医学影像诊断学、医学影像技术学、医学影像设备学、放射治疗与防护、生物医学工程学、电工与电子技术学、物理学、医药机械等8个教研室，医学影像技术、医学工程、物理学、医学影像设备（医学影像博物馆）、金工实训中心5个实验室。教学设备总值3700余万元
学院现开办医学影像学、生物医学工程、应用物理学（医学物理学方向）等三个本科专业，现有全日制本专科学生2000余人，已培养硕士研究生200余人。医学影像学专业为山东省教学改革试点专业、国家级高等学校特色专业、山东省特色专业、山东省成人教育品牌专业，影像技术实验室为省级实验教学示范中心。学院现有三门省级精品课程：医学影像设备学、医学影像检查技术学、医学影像诊断学。
近年来，学院承担并完成上级科研计划课题18项，主编医学影像专业全国规划教材5部，教育部国家级“十一五”规划教材6部，卫生部“十一五”规划教材6部，在核心期刊发表学术论文170余篇，其中SCI、EI收录20余篇。
经过二十多年的不懈努力和探索，放射学院形成了医学、工学、理学交叉融合的鲜明特色，在国内享有较高办学声誉。
The Radiological College TSMC has 68 full-time teachers， among whom 12 are professors and 30 associated professors， 11 have doctor’s degree and 39 master’s degree. There are 3 regular undergraduate degree programs， including medical imaging， biomedical engineering and medical physics. It now has an enrollment of more than 2，000 undergraduates and junior college students， and its teaching and researching facilities value over 37，000，000 yuan.
The College has been authorized to grant master degrees and was named the national radiographer training center. And imaging and nuclear medicine is key academic discipline of “the Ninth and Eleventh Five-Year Budget Period Research Project”.
Through more than 20 years of continuous effort and exploration， the Radiological College has developed into a well-structured， multi-disciplined， and comprehensive medical education institution enjoying a higher reputation in China .
