二、培养目标
掌握桥梁与隧道工程学科坚实的基础理论和系统的专门知识,对本学科的现状和发展趋势有基本的了解,有严谨求实和勇于探索的科学态度和作风,具有从事科学研究工作的能力;较为熟练的掌握一门外国语,能熟练地阅读本专业的外文资料;能从事教学、科研、设计和技术管理,或其它工程技术工作。
Our students will be cultivated to be of good moral character, with a good body and mind. They have mastered deep knowledge on bridge and tunnel engineering, and have developed the ability of analyzing and solving problems. Our students will be familiar with the technology development of their research area. They will be capable of researching, managing, technique exploiting, engineering designing and teaching in the following units: government managing department, engineering consulting firms, contractor and construction firms, university and research institute etc.
三、就业方向(Occupational Direction)
学生毕业后可在各级政府、咨询单位、设计院、研究院、高等院校桥梁等事业单位,工程建设企业、管理单位以及城市建设、公路、铁路、地铁、房地产等行业从事设计、规划、管理、施工、科研、教学工作。
After graduation, our students will be engaged in many majors such as designing, planning, administration, managing, researching and teaching etc. Main job opportunities for our graduation may come from government, engineering consulting firms, contractor and construction firms, university and research institute.
